1. retaining water
With substrate, retention, and buffering, we keep precipitation available for the plants for as long as possible before additional irrigation is needed.
Water is an essential prerequisite for healthy vegetation and thus for ecological impact. Especially during the establishment phase and prolonged dry periods, the availability of water determines how vegetation develops and which ecological functions it can fulfill. At the same time, careful water management is becoming increasingly important. Due to changing precipitation patterns and increasing drought, the availability of fresh water is under pressure. That is why we look beyond traditional irrigation.
With substrate, retention, and buffering, we keep precipitation available for the plants for as long as possible before additional irrigation is needed.
Collected rainwater and other suitable water sources are reused wherever possible, in order to reduce dependence on drinking water.
If stored water is insufficient, we supplement it in a targeted manner from a suitable source, with attention to water quality and supply reliability.
From the water and power point, we design the entire irrigation system, including pumps, filters, piping, distribution wells, control technology, and drip lines.
Through separate irrigation zones and pressure-compensated drip lines, we reach the root zone, tailored to the planting, substrate thickness, and local conditions.
Moisture sensors, control computers, and online monitoring help tailor irrigation to the needs and provide insight into consumption and malfunctions.
The most sustainable irrigation is the irrigation that is not needed. Only when retention and reuse are insufficient, we use targeted irrigation to support healthy vegetation and long-term ecological value.
Wildr combines ecological knowledge with technical system engineering. We design and implement complete irrigation systems, from water connection to root zone. With smart zoning, sensors, and digital control, we optimize water delivery, tailored to the biotope, available water sources, and local conditions.
