400 m2 wildroofs greens Hotel De Witte Dame in Abcoude

It took quite some doing, but it has become a great success. This spring, the roofs blend beautifully into the lovely landscape and are a delight for guests to look at.

First, the rough work began. In the photo, you can see the crane flawlessly lowering the big bags of substrate onto a filter layer consisting of root cloth, a drainage layer, and underneath that, a protective layer on the roof. The small excavator then leveled it out so that colleagues could even out the roofs, surround them with gravel, and then sow them with the plant mixture: 45 species that will bloom from February through November. In the coming months, the seeds can quietly settle and germinate with the first spring sunshine and showers.
