Green in the port of Rotterdam

Together with IKO, Oranjedak and Groendakspecialist , we have transformed the roof into a large rooftop flower meadow. Thanks to the subsidy from the water board and the Municipality of Rotterdam, this roof can grow into a valuable place for biodiversity and water retention in the heart of Rotterdam.

In a complex area like the Kop van Zuid, a project like this requires careful coordination. Amidst high-rise buildings, the hustle and bustle of the cruise terminal, and a tight schedule, we have been able to create a place for nature together with our partners. Large and challenging, but above all, really great to realize together!
