This project is an example of how our native and biodiverse flower roofs can contribute to a greener and healthier environment.

The new rooftop flower meadow at Beekse Bergen offers a rich variety of more than 40 different plant species that naturally occur in the Netherlands. This native vegetation creates a vibrant and colorful roof that supports local biodiversity and provides an attractive habitat for birds, bees, and butterflies. Something that perfectly aligns with the nature-friendly philosophy of the safari park.

Our flower roofs are not only aesthetically appealing, but also fully circular and biodegradable. This means they are made from renewable materials and do not burden the environment. Moreover, they are regenerative, which means they sustain themselves without the need for fertilization or pruning.

The project in Beekse Bergen demonstrates how our rooftop flower meadows can help reduce heat stress and the shortage of greenery in urban areas.

Through natural moisture regulation, our flower roofs create a cooler environment and contribute to the health and well-being of both people and animals in the safari park. We are proud of this project and our collaboration with Beekse Bergen, and we look forward to realizing more such initiatives.
